For three hours Mark Little sat down with a Solway DAF sales executive to specify a new Euro 6 DAF CF to mark the 50th anniversary in the haulage industry for his dad Ken, founder of K Little Haulage.
The CF 440 FAT 6x4 rigid was featured in a Transport News October 2017 and for good reason. K Little Haulage Ltd. was form in 1967, with Ken running a Ford Trader to a MAN tractor unit with a Weightlifter tipper trailer. Over the last 50 years the company has seen its fair share of ups and downs, surviving diesel prices hikes, recessions and much more. Now the company is running 2 DAF Euro 6 rigids and hasn't looked since making the switch to an entire DAF fleet in 2008.
Making its debut in Harrogate on the Harsh UK stand at Tip-Ex 2017, the 50th anniversary vehicle can now be found hauling sand and aggregates from local quarries.
