Four years after the launch of the original DAF Driver magazine, the popular publication has been completely redesigned and relaunched. The quarterly title, which focuses on all things DAF, is produced and distributed by Commercial Vehicle Media & Publishing and is available to drivers free-of-charge at hundreds of transport outlets, truck stops and truck washes across the UK, as well as at DAF dealers.
The new-look magazine boasts a complete redesign featuring high-end production values, almost 50% more pages, stunning photography and with a liberal furnishing of news and features from the world of DAF Trucks in the UK and the DAF driving fraternity.
DAF Driver includes regular in-depth operator and driver profiles featuring some of the most prominent DAF trucks on the road today, and all illustrated with fantastic photography.
DAF Driver has remained free-of-charge since its first issue in 2015. 14 issues later, the new-look title provides even greater appeal, and is no doubt set to become a cab favourite for DAF drivers, non-DAF drivers and business owners the length and breadth of the UK – and still free-of-charge. Distribution to the DAF Dealer network also ensures that DAF Driver reaches operators and business owners.
To cater for an anticipated increase in demand, DAF Driver is being made available through specialist stockists. Nationwide truck-wash company, UK Truckclean will retain DAF Driver at all of its sites on the motorway network, while independent truckstop network, Roadking will keep supplies at Holyhead and at the New Hollies in Cannock.
DAF Driver benefits from the expertise of well-known contributors from across the truck and transport trade press. DAF Driver will contain even more eye-catching operator profiles plus new, non-industry related content – the latest issue features a review of the new BMW 5 series touring and a profile of John Hemmingham, founder member of the ‘England Band’ which delivers patriotic renditions of The Great Escape theme-tune on the terraces at England football matches.
